Dear Everest,

In our implementation of the E2E spec on the west coast we have run into an issue with the ON datatype.

The schema we have been provided has the following case

A name is required but a use isn't.

The ON datatype in everest 1.2.4 does not support this functionality so far as we can tell.

Could someone either instruct us on how to do this, or could this otherwise be changed?

Thanks so much for your great support.

I'm not sure if I understand your question ... I don't think there is any requirement for "Use" to be populated in the ON datatype ... You should be able to do this:

ON.CreateON(null, new ENXP("Good Health Hospital")

For example:

doc.DataEnterer = new DataEnterer() {
            AssignedEntity = new AssignedEntity()
                RepresentedOrganization = new Organization()
                    Name = SET<ON>.CreateSET(ON.CreateON(null, new ENXP("Good Health Hospital")))

Results in this:

<dataEnterer typeCode="ENT" contextControlCode="OP">
    <assignedEntity classCode="ASSIGNED">
      <representedOrganization classCode="ORG" determinerCode="INSTANCE">
        <name>Good Health Hospital</name>
